After a somewhat puzzling season, I am once again pondering the fate of our beloved grid iron Vols with the season fast approaching. I feel really good about our secondary with Berry and Morley lurking, and linebacker is experienced. D-line has talent and some experience but is probably our big ?. I am excited to see the new offensive package, and if Denarius Moore shows consistent play like the flashes we saw last year he and Hathcock should have huge years. Austin Rogers could be our version of Wes Welker with this offense, and the Vol backs should have ample running lanes if Crompton can keep the defense guessing. For some reason I expect to see an offense very similar to the 92 squad when Heath Shuler took over the helm. Our only losses that year...Arkansas, Carolina and Alabama, and we could and should have won all three. For whatever reason the media is riding UGA's nuts like an AmTrak, they will be tough but I still see the Mighty Gators as the team to beat in the East. But just like in 92, UF and UGA were the favs, and we handled them so I say Go Vols!
