The ugly: This season. Four top-10 teams, 3 losses. :( The only thing that could make it worse is if we lose to Spurrier...
It very well might happen...he gave Cutcliffe fits, Sanders will plain old retard out with the old Ball Coach calling the shots.
You must have a running game for it to take a hit.
This "defense carries the team" has been the mantra for several years now. Remember 2002, the defense carried the team only to be let down and worn out by games end.
And the big games we won, the defense kept the opponents point total so low, we almost couldn't help but win - eg. UGA 2004, Miami 2003.
I will say I don't begrudge the offense this past Saturday other than the turnovers. I thought the team played with about as much heart as I've ever seen.
