  Tennessee Defeats ........... Itself
A few thoughts on the Game
  1. Our Special Teams Suck. That was the difference in the game. Blocked Kick...Missed 3 points, dropped punt return....Florida FG, Insane fake punt......Florida FG
  2. We need to send someone to Virginia Tech to learn about Special Teams
  3. Defense played a great game except for the Florida touchdown drive
  4. I am not impressed with the Urban Meyer Offensive Revolution

Comments:
Painful. So many UT defenses have been eaten in the Swamp. We finally have one that can compete and the offense can't hold up their end of the deal. Another 365 days...

Somewhere I read...the Defense was as good as good as the Offense was bad. Couldn't agree more

Remember this, last year you guys were coming off a butt-whipping by Auburn and going to Georgia who had just dismantled LSU. You were double digit underdogs. Your defense won that game and it's good enough to do the same thing in Baton Rouge.

I'm a Dawg and I hope you lose but, I think Tennessee is in their element as a big underdog.

No trackback link, so I gotta do it the hard way...

Post Title: Weekend Wrap-Up: “16 de Septiembre” edition

Summary:
In keeping with the theme of the Mexican Holiday, there is much upheaval in college football. A round up of the Big 12, Texas D1-A teams, our adopted team Tulane, blog recaps, Steelers-Texans, plus a Monday Night Dilemma.

Right said Colby. Hats off to our D, they basically played the whole 2nd half without a break and held their own. I usually don't bash our coaches too awfully hard but what I saw Saturday night and against UAB is a staff coaching to not lose instead of win. Run the damn ball until they adjust to stop it and then throw deep!!! God I miss Peerless, Joey Kent, even Craig Faulkner, his little ass was never afraid to go over the middle and make a catch. If we don't stop squandering the talent we are getting we are gonna lose out on it. Florida fielded one of the weakest teams I've ever seen and we still couldn't beat them. We have serious problems on the Hill boys, it might be a long year....
